Employment, which is among the basic macroeconomic policies, has begun to be examined by dividing it into sub-headings as “Women’s Employment” and “Men’s Employment,” with the significant involvement of women in the production processes in the modern age. Countries such as Turkey working population of female/male ratio of 1/2 in the country is close to the employment of women is increasing in importance according to the results of the chemical literature. In this study, the relationship between women’s employment and economic growth for Turkey, covering the period 1990–2018, was analyzed by Johansen cointegration test. According to the results of the analysis, it has been determined that female employment ratio has a long-term relationship with economic growth. In addition, the effect of negative shocks included in the system can be improved in 0.89 periods. As a result, women’s employment supports economic growth in the long run.
