There is a general acceptance that in order to increase the productivity of the employees in the workplace, it is necessary to increase their job satisfaction. There are many individual and institutional elements that employers can use or consider for this purpose. In the academic literature, in the studies on the job satisfaction of accountants, job satisfaction of the members of the related profession have been generally discussed, and the businesses engaged in civil air transportation have not been the subject of the studies carried out in the context of the job satisfaction of the accountants however. It is thought that this lack of interest may be due to the very narrowness of the civil air transportation sector, as well as the insufficiently low number of those who perform the accounting profession in these enterprises. In our study, it is examined whether or how accounting employees working in an enterprise where civil air transportation is carried out is manager or not may affect their job satisfaction. A survey that tries to measure this is presented as well.
