Football which had been just an sportive event up to the mid of 80’s has undergone a process of industrialization since the beginning of 90’s. Due to the quick spread of the concrete effects of added value which came out because of the industrial football, the financial and managerial analysis of football clubs having great amount of budget took center stage.In this study,, the relation between the sportive success on national and international level which belongs to the professional football clubs’ branch offices having a large scale budget in Turkey, and financial performance of the incorporated companies belonging to the sport clubs treated in the sport services in İstanbul Stock Exchange is presented here with the help of artificial neural networks.The main and common problems of the football clubs were ascertained and solution proposals were put forward.
FUTBOL ENDÜSTRİSİNDE SPORTİF BAŞARI İLE FİNANSAL PERFORMANS ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİNİN ANALİZİ VE TÜRKİYE UYGULAMASI
1980’li yılların ortasına kadar sadece bir spor oyunundan ibaret olan futbol 1990’ların başından itibaren endüstrileşme sürecine girmiştir. Endüstriyel futbolun yarattığı katma değerin somut etkilerinin hızla yayılması ile yüksek bütçelere sahip futbol kulüplerinin finansal ve yönetimsel analizi ön plana çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’de büyük ölçekli bütçeye sahip olan spor kulüplerinin profesyonel futbol şubelerine ait ulusal ve uluslararası düzeyde sportif başarılar ile Borsa İstanbul’da spor hizmetleri sektöründe işlem gören spor kulüplerine ait anonim şirketlerin finansal performansı arasındaki ilişki yapay sinir ağları modeli yardımıyla ortaya konulmuştur. Futbol kulüplerinin başlıca sorunları tespit edilerek çözüm önerileri sunulmuştur.
